As a Director of Offtake at Carbon Direct, Luke leads Carbon Direct’s engagement with carbon removal buyers on long-term offtake structuring and near-term carbon purchases.
Background & Bio
Before joining Carbon Direct, Luke built a career in conservation and innovative finance. He worked for The Nature Conservancy for five years in its Chief Strategy and Chief Conservation Offices, helping lead program evaluation around the globe and launching and running a +$30M internal impact fund. After TNC, he worked in forest carbon project development, helping to lead business development and partnerships for Mast Reforestation, a vertically-integrated reforestation company in the Western U.S. He graduated from Yale University and is a proud Midwesterner.
